. I wanted to make a neon sign for my casino. to start this, I grabbed the text tool and made some text. I played around with the settings to get a font and style that I liked for the text.
I wanted the text to be different on both elements, so I changed the fonts around and change the colours.
to then add a border around the sign I made a cube and extruded it to make one side of the border. I then mirrored the object and bevelled it to create the border.
so far, the product looks like this. however, I wanted to add more shapes to it like starts. to do this I found the symbols I wanted and got the text tool and pasted the symbols into the text. I then I manipulated them to make sure they fit the rest of the scene.
I also messed around with different ideas, but I settled on this for my neon sign
