to make the slot machine I used basic shapes such as: the cube, the cylinder and the sphere. I started off with the base of the model. to make this i made a book and using the loop cut tool i added loop cuts. then extruding the areas I wanted. to add the key hole to get the money out of the machine I used a cylinder and flattened it down. for this model I took inspiration form bar chairs. to make the bottom of the chair i used a cone a flattened it out so it would support the chair. I then added a cylinder to make the stand. for the cushions of the chair I took two cubs and sized them to be the size i wanted and added loop cuts and smoothened them to give them less of a sharp look. for the metal bar connecting the backrest to the seat i used a cylinder again and cured it. to texture the object I used aistanderedsurface and gave the metal parts a metal grey and the cushions a red colour.

for the roulette wheel i made the metal piece that would sit on the top first. to make this i used the curves and surfaces tab at the top of Maya. I used the tool which allows you to draw your own shape and then pressed the button which allows me to make this into a solid object. to texture this piece I used aistanderedsusrface and gave it a grey colour. i added metallicness to the object to make it look metal. for the rest of the wheel i used the cylinder model and resized it to the shape i need it to be. to make the glass I used the curves and surfaces tab in Maya using the drawing tool i made a outline of the glass i wanted to make and then from there i selected the tool which allows me to make that selection one whole object. form here i added a material to the glass and made it more transparent so it would look more like a glass. to get the liquid inside of the glass i used a cone and turned it upside down and scaled it so it would fit inside the glass. for the little cocktail stick I used a cylinder and extruded the central vertex to give it a point on both ends. after this i used slandered surface material to texture all my objects and…

this is a simple model that i made. it consists of a long cylinder and a flat plan which I extruded to get the shape that I want. to make the stick have divot towards the end i made a few loop cuts and then shrunk down that segment to give it more shape and so it would be easier for someone to hold it in the real world.

. I wanted to make a neon sign for my casino. to start this, I grabbed the text tool and made some text. I played around with the settings to get a font and style that I liked for the text. I wanted the text to be different on both elements, so I changed the fonts around and change the colours. to then add a border around the sign I made a cube and extruded it to make one side of the border. . another model I made was a die. to make this shape I simply got a cube and slightly bevelled the edges to make it more curved. to add the little, divest on the side of the die for the numbers I just got lots of shears and Boolean them out of the cube after i did this I then wanted to make the die a different colour and make it a little transparent. I did this by assigning it a new material and simply changing the colour of the material and changing the transparency. inside the dots i applied a white texture to them faces.

the first model I want to do is a casino chip to start off I just placed a cylinder into the scene and then scaled it down, so it was the size of a chip. after this I then added subdivisions to the top of the shape so then I could bevel it in. I selected the faces I want to extrude and gave it a dip to add the symbols on the side i made them with the text tool and boo leaned them out of the casino chip. to texture them i added a aistanderedsurface and applied a black and blue colour to my chips.
